Project Scope
The Market Research Assistant will support The Big Issue in expanding its network of vendor partners by identifying potential collaborations with community organisations and national networks. The role involves conducting market research, analysing partnership opportunities, and compiling reports to guide strategic outreach efforts.
Research community organisations, charities, and businesses that align with The Big Issue’s vendor inclusion strategy.
Assess potential partners’ missions, outreach capabilities, and target demographics.
Compile detailed reports on partnership opportunities, including key contact points and engagement strategies.
Support the development of outreach materials and presentations for potential partners.
Monitor trends in community-based vendor support initiatives.
Project Outcomes
Identified and assessed at least ten potential partner organisations for vendor recruitment.
Compiled a comprehensive market research report detailing opportunities for strategic partnerships.
Developed two outreach proposals to engage community and national organisations.
Provided recommendations for enhancing vendor inclusion efforts based on research findings.
Internship Requirements
