Project Scope

The High-Net-Worth Relationship Donor Assistant will play a key role in identifying and analysing potential high-net-worth donors to support The Big Issue’s initiatives. The role involves conducting in-depth research on donor prospects, understanding their philanthropic interests, and supporting strategic engagement efforts through data-driven insights.

  • Research and identify potential high-net-worth donors, analysing their philanthropic history and giving capacity.

  • Utilise databases, online tools, and public records to compile donor profiles.

  • Support the development of engagement strategies by providing research insights and recommendations.

  • Assist in drafting donor outreach materials, presentations, and reports.

  • Monitor trends in high-net-worth philanthropy to identify new funding opportunities.

Project Outcomes

  • Created at least five detailed donor profiles with insights into their giving history and interests.

  • Compiled a database of potential high-net-worth donors aligned with The Big Issue’s mission.

  • Supported the development of at least two engagement strategies tailored to potential donors.

  • Provided a report summarising trends and opportunities in high-net-worth philanthropy.

Internship Requirements

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Ability to interpret financial and philanthropic data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM tools is desirable.
