Fundraising & Partnerships Intern – Reform Africa Uganda

Through partnerships with corporates, institutions, and community stakeholders, the enterprise builds programmes that create both economic return and social impact.

Project Scope

The Fundraising & Partnerships Intern will support Reform Africa Uganda in strengthening its resource mobilisation and revenue development efforts. The role focuses on identifying income opportunities, supporting partnership outreach, and strengthening commercial positioning:

  • Researching 5–10 potential funding, CSR, institutional, or blended-finance opportunities aligned with Reform Africa Uganda’s service lines.

  • Supporting the drafting of one revenue-focused proposal, partnership pitch, or commercial concept note aligned to a specific opportunity.

  • Assisting in developing outreach templates such as partnership introduction emails, follow-up communications, and impact summaries.

  • Helping create one income-generation asset such as a capability statement, corporate partnership brief, or short pitch presentation.

  • Drafting 5–7 social media or digital outreach posts that position Reform Africa Uganda’s programmes as investable and partnership-ready.

  • Supporting the documentation of 2–3 impact highlights or enterprise case examples suitable for partner-facing communication.

Project Outcomes

  • A structured opportunity research list identifying 5–10 viable revenue, CSR, or partnership prospects.

  • One draft revenue-focused proposal or partnership pitch prepared for internal review.

  • A small set of outreach templates to support future partnership engagement.

  • One polished income-generation asset such as a capability document or pitch deck.

  • 5–7 drafted digital outreach posts aligned with partnership positioning.

  • A short reflective report summarising insights on revenue opportunities, market positioning, and recommended next steps.

Internship Requirements

  • Interest in Social Enterprise & Revenue Development: Curiosity about how for-profit social enterprises generate income while creating measurable impact.

    Strong Written Communication Skills: Ability to draft clear, persuasive emails, briefs, and short proposals.

    Research & Analytical Skills: Capacity to identify aligned opportunities and synthesise findings clearly.

    Digital Awareness: Familiarity with social media and online positioning for visibility and outreach.

    Organisation & Professionalism: Ability to manage tasks independently and respond constructively to feedback.
