Project Scope

The Fundraising Assistant will support TGED in strengthening its fundraising activities, with a particular focus on donor outreach and campaign preparation. This role offers practical experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor communication, and digital campaigning. Responsibilities include:

• Researching at least 5–10 potential donors, grant opportunities, or partners aligned with TGED’s mission.

• Assisting in drafting one funding proposal or partnership pitch.

• Supporting the development of donor communication templates (e.g., introductory emails, thank-you letters).

• Helping to create fundraising materials such as a one-page donor brief or presentation slides.

• Contributing to TGED’s online presence by drafting 5–7 social media posts highlighting fundraising needs and impact stories.

Project Outcomes

• A donor research list with at least 5–10 potential funders or partners identified.

• One draft proposal or partnership pitch tailored to a specific opportunity.

• Donor communication templates developed for future use.

• One fundraising material (brief or presentation) produced and shared with the team.

• At least 5–7 social media posts created to support TGED’s fundraising outreach.

• A short reflective report analysing fundraising efforts and outlining recommendations for future improvement.
