Marina Gardash studied at the Slavyansk Chemical and Mechanical Technical School, where she received an engineering and technology diploma. She continued her studies at the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy. In 2005, she received a Master's degree in Vocational Training. She began teaching at the Engineering College of the Donbass State Engineering Academy as a teacher of chemistry and ecology in 2007. She is now a teacher of chemistry and biology at Kramatorsk Higher Professional School.
